What Is Collactive Web Assistant?
Many websites require you to open an account on them in order to use them. Keeping track of all those different accounts, so that you can participate and voice your opinion on them, can be a nuisance. Collactive Web Assistant saves you a lot of work by helping you open and remember your accounts on the web.
What Personal Information About Users Does Collactive Save?
The main goals in collecting personal information are to provide, maintain, improve, analyze, customize and further develop the Collactive services. We only collect personal information that is relevant to the purpose of our website. Information used:
- Information you provide - We receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. Such information may include your name, email address and an account password and is needed to open an account or use portions of the Services. You can decline to provide personal information, but in such case, some portions of the Services will not be available to you. - You may use Collactive Web Assistant to register new accounts at different web sites. The new account's login details and session cookies are saved on your personal computer.
- When a website needs some personal information, such as your name or age, Collactive Web Assistant will ask you for it. It will be saved so that next time you will not need to enter it again.
- Collactive Web Assistant saves your personal information on your own personal computer. This information is never stored on our servers, we never monitor or use it in any way.
- Additional information provided during your use of the Management Service:
- You may use Collactive Web Assistant to register new accounts or manage existing accounts at different web sites. The account's login details and session cookies are saved on your personal computer and/or our servers.
- When a website needs some personal information, such as your name or age, Collactive Web Assistant will ask you for it. It will be saved on your personal computer and/or our servers so that next time you will not need to enter it again.
- Collactive Web Assistant saves your personal information on your own personal computer and/or on our servers. We do monitor and use it to provide you with some portions of the Management Service.
Will Collactive Share Any of The Information It Receives?
Collactive does not rent nor sell your personal information to any 3rd party, except for the following purposes:
- Collactive may share your personal information for processing on Collactive's behalf and in compliance with this privacy policy. Specifically, Collactive does not share, rent or sell your email address to any 3rd party, nor does it send you any unsolicited commercial email.
- Collactive may share aggregated, non-personal information that does not identify you personally.
- Collactive may share your personal information if Collactive has a good faith belief that disclosure of your personal information is reasonably necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request or enforce applicable Terms of Service.

Is Information About Me Secure?
- Collactive takes appropriate security measures to protect against destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access to your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Collactive and you do so at your own risk.
- Collactive restricts access to personal information on a need-to-know basis. Only employees who need personal information to perform a specific task (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to it. All of our employees are kept up to date on our privacy and security practices.
- As stated previously, Collactive Web Assistant stores your personal information on your own computer. The passwords are not plainly stored and are only used by Collactive Web Assistant when logging in to the website. This is similar in nature to the "remember my passwords" option you use on your browser and is just as safe.
- To increase your personal information's security, you should not use the Collactive Web Assistant from shared or public computers, since other users who receive their own action alerts might use your Collactive Web Assistant accounts. This is again similar to using "remember my passwords" option in your browser from shared computers.
What Choices Do I Have?
- As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information, but then you may be unable to use certain features on our website.
- You may request deletion of your account by emailing us at privacy@collactive.com.
- You can always opt not to use the Collactive Web Assistant and manage your website accounts manually.
- The "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. Please note, however, that if your browser does not accept cookies, you will not be able to take advantage of some of our services.
